I am running for Provo School Board because the quality and security of our way of life depends on the education of our children. I want to build a quality education for every child. With increasing challenges at home and competition world-wide, our educational goals must be higher than what we have held in the past. In this new century the public education system needs to prepare every child to be ready for further education in a college or career setting. Each high school graduate should be free to choose what direction to take. We cannot wait for additional funding to come to Utah but must use our current resources to work toward raising our goals for education. We must make wise choices for our curriculum and instruction time and be ever more inclusive of parents, students, and community members in the schools and in the education process.

Working together we can make Provo School District an even better place to prepare for a great future.
